After a couple iffy collections, Sézane’s spring slate is full of absolute bangers: Think summer on the Côte d’Azur, on the sunniest day of the year. Top picks below — a mix of va-va-va-voom tops and dresses for warmer weather, plus some soon-to-be-staples in the form of easy-to-wear jeans, jackets, and sweaters that are good to go right now. See the full collection here.

Leave it to Quince to come up with the dupes of all dupes, with a very close approximation of vibe, buttons, length, and boxiness. The big difference is the mohair/angora mix in the Sézane version — Quince’s is actually cashmere, which should wear well and stay soft, but won’t have that va-va-voom-y halo that the Sézane version does. A great price for cashmere, but to me the Quince version inevitable looks corporate — no one’s going to wear that turned front to back.
The Raffia June Bag
The Adele Dress
Cuter than it might look from this photo — see the photo at top for a better idea of the pretty embroidery. A warning: If you don’t like a dress with a belt, you’ll want to skip; not sure why this is shown with a leather belt, but the white version appropriately shows the belt it ships with, which is “made of own fabric.” The Bobby Jacket

A springtime classic — more practical than a full-length trench and more comfortable than the Will, the Bobby is perfect for the April showers (read: the outer material is water resistant). In three, equally good colors: navy, camel, and classic-trench tan.
The New ’70s Trousers
Sézane denim can be tricky to wear, especially if you’re used to jeans with some stretch: The 1% elastane (with 99% organic cotton) means you might need to be flexible with your size. (I go up two sizes in Sézane jeans, and that’s relative to other French brands.) But the high waist/full leg combo can’t be beat right now, and once they’re broken in (and maybe tailored), they’re perfect.
The Samuel Jumper
The Drew Cardigan
The Fitia Dress
The epitome of Sézane’s best summer dresses: easy to wear, super style-y, and as sexy as you want it to be (thanks to buttons that control how much leg is visible). In organic cotton and linen — note the straps are a little thicker than they look in this picture, which’ll be good news if you want to wear a bra without it showing.
