Let’s Go to the Diptyque Outlet at La Vallée Village!

A good array of deals in a lovely little shopping center.

Here’s a Diptyque Vallee Village review: a 7.5 out of 10!

High-end candle lovers, you know who you are, and you will be happy to come here (not least because there’s a Byredo outlet just a few steps away.) Let’s start with the headlines — here’s what I saw.

Diptyque Vallee Village: What’s On Sale

This was in addition to the small assortment of regularly priced items — like many shops at La Vallée Village, the Diptyque outlet had a mix of current-season pieces and older ones, discounted by a minimum of 30%:

A substantial array of holiday candles, including, from Holiday 2023:

  • Sapin and Délice (190g, was €72, now €48; 70g, was €40, now €28)
  • the Holiday Carousel box with 2 small candles (was €130, now €87)
  • the Holiday Lantern box with 1 large Mimosa (was €140, now €94)

From Holiday 2024:

  • 3 small candle set with Sapin, Délice, and Coton (was €118, now €84)

From Holiday 2025:

  • Sapin palet (was €65, now €44)
  • Sapin candle (190g, was €74, now €49)

From Summer 2024:

  • The three small candle set (was €116, now €77)

From Summer 2025:

  • The special summer box set (was €255, now €171)
  • The illustrated Citronelle candle (190g, was €65, now €44)

As well as:

  • The Eau Rose box with 50ml of eau de toilette and the hair perfume (was €165, now €111)
  • Finally, I can’t find the price, but the Valentine’s Day set of Baies and Roses

All in all, I thought these were decent if not incredible deals. For anyone looking for the various editions of Sapin from the last five years — well, this would be a remarkable experience. For everybody else, it was hit or miss, and especially so for perfume fans, as the only major discount I saw was for Eau Rose. If I’d been looking for the special box of treats from Summer 2025 — I mean, it’s spectacular.

I didn’t expect to go home with anything, but I picked up the holiday carousel box with the small (70g) Ambre and Feu de Bois, two of my absolute favorites, for €84. (Here’s 46 Diptyque candles, ranked.)

A tiny bit of a sad ending: When I got back to Paris, I realized that the carousel didn’t spin correctly. I stopped by my local Diptyque but they couldn’t help me, and I haven’t had the wherewithal to go back to Vallée Village. This was a special little treat — I wouldn’t normally splurge on such a…whimsy, and I was disappointed to realize it was broken. My score above was originally an 8 until I noticed the problem.

On the other hand, the same box recently popped up on the Diptyque Archives sale. To be sure — that sale had a wider variety of products, and many of those above. But converting between the US prices and France — wow. The same set I got for €84 (about $97) was $165! Those are…significant savings. And you don’t have to wait around for the once-a-year archives to get them.

All in all, I think Vallée Village is a great shopping destination — and I will absolutely be back to the Diptyque outlet, to see what they have in. I will also double-check the engineering integrity of any new carousels before I schlep them back to Paris. 🙁
