Faraway Places Paper

I’m a recent graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop in fiction, and I’m currently a second-year graduate student at the University of Iowa’s Center for the Book.
I’ve been making hand-cut paper maps since 2010. Each postcard or print is based on designs cut, by me, by hand, usually on the floor of my apartment.
My work has been sold at retailers including the Brooklyn Museum Shop, Politics & Prose (DC), Green Apple Books (SF), and Rare Device in San Francisco, as well as top-tier craft markets including Renegade, Unique LA, and many others.
It’s also been featured in editorial outlets including The Today Show, Brooklyn Magazine, and NYLON.
I welcome the opportunity to share my work with your community. I will also leverage the power of my own online community — including 1M+ Pinterest viewers, 12K+ Instagram followers, and a newsletter with over 10,000 subscribers — to promote my work within your shops.
I welcome inquiries about my work, custom orders, or wholesale requests. You can reach me at diana@farawayplaces.co.
